Anita Sadaty, MD, certified by the Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at North Shore University Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. She has been in Northwell Obstetrics and Gynecology for the past two years. Professor Ke is a resident physician for decades.
Her redefining health care practice in Roslin, New York is one of the few practices that integrate functional medicine into gynecological practice. Functional medicine tries to identify and solve the root cause of the disease, rather than simply using drugs to reduce the symptoms.
Before completing the residency internship, Dr. Sadaty conducted two years of research in the Department of Biochemistry at Rockefeller University and the Department of Surgical Research at Cornell University School of Medicine. She is a co-author of a research publication on diabetic wound healing published in the Journal of Surgical Research in 1991. In 1998, she introduced a clinical study on the relative effectiveness of various labor induction agents that she completed during the residency training at the annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Sadaty graduated with honors from Cornell University School of Medicine as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha in 1994. He completed the training of obstetrics and gynecology resident in 1998 and became the chief resident of North Shore University Hospital in 1998. She completed the functional medicine certification in 2014 at the Kalish Institute, 2017 at the Kresser Institute and 2018 at the Institute of Functional Medicine training.
