Ann-Louise T. Lockhart, PsyD, ABPP, is a West Indian woman, 21-year-old wife, mother of 2 children, and has more than 15 years of experience in pediatric psychology.

Dr. Lockhart specializes in working with clients who provide medical diagnosis and are looking for alternative solutions. She also serves as a parent coach for parents of children with ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral problems. She also helps high-performing professionals and athletes overcome psychological barriers that affect their best performance. Dr. Lockhart works closely with medical specialists, pediatricians, related professionals and school staff.

Dr. Lockhart has given national lectures on topics such as ADHD, executive function, and racism at schools, conferences, online podcasts, summits, and corporate seminars. She has been interviewed and quoted in multiple online and print publications, including the New York Times, New York Post, PureWow, MSN, Fatherly, San Antonio Magazine, Veronica Beard and Therapy for Black Girls podcast.

She is a freelance writer at PureWow and a writer at the Gottman Institute.


Dr. Lockhart received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Canisius College, and a master’s and doctorate degrees from the Arizona College of Occupational Psychology (Clinical Psychology).

She completed her doctoral internship and two years of postdoctoral research at the San Antonio Military Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center.
