Meet Amish Jia

Dr. Amishi Jha is a professor of psychology at the University of Miami. She is also the Director of Contemplative Neuroscience for the Mindfulness Research and Practice Project she co-founded in 2010.

She wrote a new book called “Peak Mind”. In it, she shared how we can increase attention span and focus better within 12 minutes a day.

Amishi has conducted extensive research on attention span. She discovered several important lessons that explain why we are so distracted and what we can do to improve concentration.
